London, 9 February 2026: Volt Underwriting, the MGA formed to support clients and brokers active in the energy sector, has added to its growing team with the recruitment of senior midstream energy underwriter Alasdair Haines. He joins following nearly ten years at QBE Insurance, most recently as Senior Underwriter, Onshore Energy.

Volt Chief Underwriting Officer Andrew Tokley said: “We are delighted to secure someone of Alasdair’s calibre as we continue to broaden our energy offering.
