Kevin Cleary
COO
Kevin has over 25 years’ experience in the insurance sector, most recently as Chief Operating Officer at Optio.
During 8 years at Optio, Kevin held several senior positions in the business and oversaw profitable growth, the successful integration of multiple acquisitions and geographic expansion into Europe and the Middle East.
Prior to this, Kevin held underwriting positions for c. 17 years, predominantly working in the Financial Lines and Cyber sectors.
Highlights during his underwriting career were launching the DUAL Manchester office in in 2005, setting up a Financial Lines department in 2010 for Allied World and managing the Delegated Underwriting function (production focused) at Navigators 1221 in 2014.
Amy Hayward
Head of Exposure Management
Amy is an experienced exposure management specialist with a strong background in catastrophe modelling. She has worked across several leading insurance firms, supporting underwriting teams with pricing and risk analysis.
At Volt, Amy leads the exposure management team, helping to improve how risks are assessed and priced.
Amy is known for her positive attitude and clear communication. She enjoys mentoring others and has led projects to upgrade models and improve systems.
She holds a degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Kent and is Cert CII qualified. Her mix of technical skill and team spirit makes her a great fit for Volt.
